The aim of BAS journal is to facilitate the exchange of information on the results of the latest research in the field of British and American literatures, language, and culture, to clarify the main characteristics of contemporary culture, of the phenomena of globalization and Americanization. BAS was first issued in 1996 and it kept appearing annually in the month of May. The editorial board of the journal is made up of very well known specialists in the field from Europe and the United States of America. BAS journal publishes a selection of papers, some of which are presented at the annual international BAS conference, and others submitted individually. Papers are peer-reviewed. The present site contains full text versions for all issues but the last, which gives access to the journal Contents only.
